Sonal is an executive coach and workshop facilitator known for her wild curiosity, ability to connect quickly with people, and playful style. Her areas of focus include Leadership Development, Executive Presence, Resilience, Conflict Management, and EDI. Sonal challenges her clients to debunk their self-limiting beliefs and assumptions and to step out of their comfort zones. Sonal’s clients value the combination of her easy-going and direct approach.
Sonal’s professional journey began in healthcare as a community pharmacist over two decades ago. Prior to transitioning to facilitating leadership development programs and executive coaching, she spent 14 years in increasingly senior roles in strategy, marketing, and sales at Eli Lilly and AstraZeneca. At Eli Lilly, she led cross-functional teams through a new product launch, led a major shift in strategy of a mature product, and represented Canada in the global patient journey development for a pipeline product. At Astra Zeneca, Sonal worked in the medical department, where she partnered with product teams to gain market access for a new drug. In addition to running her own coaching and training company now, Sonal is a faculty member at The Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), where she trains new coaches across the globe.
